In 2010 Friends of Camp Mather took over the General Store operations thanks to a generous lease with SFR+P. The yearly rent is one dollar, and all the profits go back to camp.

Some new FoCM merchandise available at the store:

• hooded sweat shirts,
  
• sweat pants,
  
• can coolers (koozies),
  
• ceramic bistro coffee mugs
  
• FoCM General Store gift cards for use at camp. 

Camp Mather books and water bottles are still available.

For years FoCM lobbied for the General Store profits to be used to benefit the camp. One prominent advocate was the late FoCM VP Tony Patch  who passed away leaving the FoCM Treasurer and President to continue and finalize lease negotiations with SFR+P. All store profits are now spent on Camp Mather, and the store deck has been dedicated in Tony's honor as "The Patch".
